Mr. Thomas Lee Burchette, 66 of Salisbury passed away December 17, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Burchette was born March 23, 1945 in Rowan County son of the late Dewey S. Burchette and Elsie Miller Trembley. He was educated in the Rowan County Schools, was a long distance truck driver, and a member of Landis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elaine Griffin Burchette, whom he married May 21, 1971, one son, Brian Burchette of Salisbury, two daughters, Kelli Kimball and husband Brian of Kannapolis, Tonda Maggard and husband Kevin of Ohio, He has one brother, Ray Burchette of Rockwell, and two sisters, Betty Misenheimer and Helen Sprinkle and husband Johnny of Rockwell.

Grandchildren are, Christopher, Chassity, Nicholas, Sierra, and Braxton, and one great grandchild, Kayden.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Thomas Lee Burchette will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Landis Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Billy Honeycutt, Pastor.
