Charlotte Margaret Hoffman Stepp. 69, of Salisbury went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 1, 2012. Charlotte was born on July 9, 1943 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, daughter of the late Harry A. and Charlotte Vada Hoffman.
Charlotte was 1961 graduate of Bridgeton High School, she worked for the Cracker Barrel in Concord. Charlotte was a Charter member of Destiny City of Salisbury, where she was over the card ministry, sending inspirational cards to anyone who was in need. Charlotte enjoyed playing cards, knitting afghans and baby blankets, and listening to music.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Claude Stepp on March 2, 1991.
Charlotte is survived by her long time friend and caregiver, Nancy Taylor of Rockwell. Son, Wayne Stepp, granddaughter, Alisha Stepp, great-grandchildren Issac and Dominic Pale all of Ulysses, KS. Grandson, Brian Stepp of Richfield; and brother, John Stepp of New Jersey.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday September 8th at Hill Creek Worship Center (8482 US HWY 52, Rockwell NC 28138) at 4:00 pm, conducted by Dr. Don Vest.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Destiny City Building Fund P.O. Box 73 Salisbury NC 28145.
