Melissa Whitman Hartwell, of Spencer, NC passed away December 19, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Melissa was born on September 2, 1967 to the late Roy Whitman and Janie Whitman.
Melissa worked at the Community Cupboard of Ellis Crossroads and at Lee Jeans as a Tagger. Melissa enjoyed knitting and loved her special cat Nunu.
Melissa is survived by two special friends; Shelia Goodnight of Salisbury, and Staci Miller of Spencer.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
