Lewis Eugene “Gene” Stiller, 76, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Gene was born on September 27, 1936 in Rowan county, son of the late Ernest Eugene and Vada Bost Stiller. Gene was a 1954 Graduate of China Grove High School, he retired from Ingersoll Rand as a Maintenance Technician. Gene enjoyed fishing, and loved Duke Basketball and playing golf.
Survivors: Gene is survived by this wife, Joyce Stiller, whom he married on August 7, 1990. Sons, Steve Stiller of Mocksville, and Keith Stiller of Clemmons; and a sister, Fran Sprinkle of Easley, S.C. Gene is also survived by grandchildren, Corbin, Kristen, Emily and Ethan.
Service: There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at Christ Untied Methodist Church of Salisbury, 3401 Mooresville Road, Salisbury, N.C. 28147, conducted by Danny & Sharon Kerr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rowan County Hospice and Palliative Care, 720 Grove Street, Salisbury , N.C. 28144, or to the National Kidney Foundation, 4710 Hedgemore Drive, Suite 810, Charlotte, N.C. 28209.
