Jimmy I miss you so much. I will never forget you and will always remember and cherish out time together; from you teaching me to tie my shoes to showing me how to shave you were always there whenever I asked and really needed you. Uncle Jimmy, always the “lite” of the party; his presence so bright. One of my fondest childhood memories is of a huge sleepover at their home and Uncle Jimmy introducing a bunch of us to “The Walton’s”. With a sense of humor and a gentle strength he could dissipate the “bads” from heartbreaks to nightmares. He was an amazing character, whose story came to end all to soon, but will live on forever.
Aunt Shirley, I know you’re grieving not only the loss of your husband, but of your best friend…Remember “God’s promise that as you follow Him, He will be beside you always” and know that now “He will carry you through” somehow; Footprints In The Sand. I love you and will continue to hold you up in Prayers.
Taylor, Tommy, and Justin–I’m so sorry. Y’all are in my prayers. Love y’all.

I am so sorry to read about your loss of James to your family. When we face a loss of someone so dear to us it can be very devastating. I have found that reading God’s Words written in the bible can be an encouragement to many. Jesus while on earth demonstrated deep love for humankind. One way we can see this demonstration is when his good friend Lazarus died. Yes, Jesus gave way to tears. (John 11: 35, 36, 41-44) Jesus father has given him the authority to eliminate death forever (Isaiah 25:8). we must also remember that Jesus used that authority when he brought his friend Lazarus back to life. Yes, Jesus will soon, with the authority of his father perform these same miracles for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death ( John 5:28,29) May these words and scriptures comfort and strengthen your Family during this time of bereavement.
