Ola Mae Dulin Ijames was called from her earthly home on May 23, 2013 after a courageous battle with an extended illness.
Born January 08, 1945 to the late Annie Dulin VanEaton, she was educated in the Davie County School System. She served many years in the food service industry and later as a personal care assistant for individuals who were ill. She was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC.
Ola Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Calvin Ijames; her mother, Annie VanEaton; three sisters, Barbara “Ann” Bohannon and Emma Hall of Mocksville and Pearline “Red” Williams of Florida; and, two brothers, Nathaniel “Nate” Dulin of Salisbury and James “Bubba” Hall of High Point.
Left to cherish her memories are her three children, Debbie (Daniel) Brown, Michael (Mary) Ijames, and Paula Ijames of Mocksville; foster son, James (Jennie) Greene of Mocksville; two special nieces, Pamela (Bryan) Duncan of Salisbury and Gail Bohannon of Mocksville; four sisters, Thelma VanEaton, Josephine (James) Ijames, and Mildred (William) Kemp of Mocksville, and Mary Rowe of New York; three brothers, John Dulin of Mocksville, William “Pete” Hall of Kernersville, and John Hall of New York; seven grandchildren, ShaLonda (Brandon) Gentry, ShaNicka Brown, Larry “TJ” Dillard, Jalen Ijames, and Jalyn Greene of Mocksville; “DJ” and Kalil Duncan of Salisbury; two great-grandchildren, Kenadi and Makenzie Gentry of Mocksville; a very special friend, Annie “Reedie” Holman of Mocksville; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Blaise Baptist Church, 134 Blaise Church Road, Mocksville, NC.

Ola Mae Ijames (Nanny) was such an amazing person. Nanny was fill with so much love and warmth that she made you forget about your hurt, your pain, and your problems. A wonderful person has gone on to a higher power. I love you and miss you Nanny.
