John Allen Searles, 40, of Kannapolis, NC passed away on July 7, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Searles was born on December 30, 1972 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Wayne Searles Sr. and Margit Searles.
John worked as a roofer in the construction business and was member of the Charity Baptist Church in Kannapolis.
Mr. Searles is survived by his wife, Angela Searles; a son, Jacob Searles; daughters, Amber and Ashley Searles; his mother, Margit Searles; brothers, Timothy Searles, Wayne Searles Jr., and Matthew Searles; and a sister, Sandy McMinn.
There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday July 14, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Charity Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC conducted by Pastors, Marty Payton and Justin Thompson. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the church.

Hey dad i’m close to going to prom and graduating from high school. I made it and i didn’t give up. I miss you everyday wondering how proud you would be. You have a grandson now.
