Luby Eric Rouse, 75, of Kinston, NC passed away on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center. Mr. Rouse was born on June 3, 1938 in Kinston, North Carolina to the late Clayton Rouse and Doris Turner Rouse. Mr. Rouse proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Luby Eric Rouse was a member of Union Baptist Church in Moss Hill and loved caring for and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rouse is preceded in death by a sister, Lou Anne Alphin.

Luby Eric Rouse is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lela Bills Rouse; a son, Jack Rouse of Cary, NC; a sister, Ada Ray Hall and husband Charmon of Plano, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday August 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery with honors provided by the Rowan County Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4200 Morganton Road, Suite 300, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
