Charles Edward Luellen Jr., 59 of Denton North Carolina formerly of Muskogee Oklahoma passed away on Thursday August 29th 2013 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington North Carolina. Chuck was born April 16th 1954 in Muskogee Oklahoma. He was the oldest son of the late Charles Edward Luellen Sr. and Anna Lea Redeagle Luellen.
Chuck was a graduate of Muskogee High School class of 1973. He received his associates degree in Computer Sciences from OSU Tech in 1985. Chuck served his country in the United States Navy from 1975-1977 on board the USS Wabash. On July 16th 1976 Chuck crossed the equator and earned his Trusty Shellback Certificate. Chuck was Quapaw and a citizen of Muscogee Creek Nation. Chuck worked for Bill Willis CMH & SAC as the IT Administrator and telecommunications manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Muskogee Oklahoma. He enjoyed grilling, playing golf, and he loved playing his guitars.
In addition to his parents Chuck is preceded in death by his brother Ray Luellen in May 2011, and his sister Linda Luellen in October 1978.
Survivors: Chuck is survived by his wife Joannie Luellen, sons Cal Luellen and life partner Stacy Ballard of Dallas Texas, and Steven Luellen and wife Anna of Denton North Carolina, daughter Elizabeth Luellen of Glenpool Oklahoma. Grandchildren Hannah and Ethan Luellen of Denton North Carolina, Cember and Autumn Beilhartz, and unborn grandson due in October of Glenpool Oklahoma. Brothers Gary Luellen and wife Julie of Glenpool Oklahoma, Mike Luellen and wife Maggie Oktaha Oklahoma, and Mark Luellen and wife Melissa of Cave Creek Arizona. Sister Terrie Garrison and husband Rob of Lawrence Kansas. Sister-in-law Vanessa Luellen of Claremore Oklahoma. Sister-in-law Janet Branchcomb and husband Billy of Muskogee Oklahoma. Brother-in-law John Mayer and wife Mary of Morris Oklahoma.
Memorial Service will be at First United Methodist Church in Muskogee Oklahoma at 9:30a.m. September 13th 2013 with burial at The National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson Oklahoma with Dr. Jack Kemper officiating.
