I am holding in my hand the sweet wedding card that Vickie sent to Mike and me not much more than a month ago. She was a precious lady, whose unfailing smile brightened any room. It was a blessing to me to know her. May she rest in peace in God’s almighty hands.

Susan and Ted Fields says
My “little sister” never agreed to be little, or to be limited or defined by anyone else. She fought back, against all odds, not just against cancer, but against anything that held her back. She was unfailingly generous, forgiving, and kind. She appreciated the smallest kindness, and forgave the gravest offenses. She made her own way, and to the end would not let others tell her how to live, or how or when to die. And when dying, gave us the gift of a smile. May we all live and die with such grace. See you up there, until then watch over us all. Susan
