Donald Carl Cronin 73, of Salisbury, NC passed away on Sunday October, 27 2013 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Mr. Cronin was born on September 6, 1940 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Mr. Donald Karl Cronin and Mrs. Garland Hoy Cronin. Mr. Cronin proudly served his country in the United States Army before retiring after 20 years of service.
Donald was a member of the Amvets Post 845 in Rockwell, NC and was also a member of the VFW Post in Salisbury, NC.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ellen Cronin and Jane Hammill.
Donald Carl Cronin is survived by his wife of 23 years, Dolores Marie Cronin of Salisbury; two daughters, Debra Mitchell of Niles, Ohio, and Diann Coy of Warren, Ohio; a son, William Kenneth Mitchell of Lake Milton, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Tonya Lynn Coy.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday October 31, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery with honors provided by The Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard.
