Kathy Cole Boone, 51, of Albemarle passed away on October 27, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Boone was born in Stanly County, NC on January 12, 1962 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Benson Milas Clayton Cole Sr. and Velma Moss Cole.

Kathy Cole Boone is survived by her husband of 32 years, John F. Boone Jr.; daughters, Shannon Boone Morgan and husband Darnell, and Danielle Boone; a son, Nicolas Boone; grandchildren, Marshall S. Lefler and Darnell F. Morgan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday November, 1 2013 at 6:00 PM at Poplin Grove Baptist Church (220 Poplin Grove Church Rd., Albemarle NC, 28001) conducted by Pastor Richard Carlisle and Rev. Ron Honeycutt.
