Charles (Charlie) Robert Luster, of Charlotte, NC was born August 31, 1948 to Lula Maurice (Seay) Luster in Americus, GA (Sumter County). Charlie graduated from Kennedy High School in Riviera Beach, FL – Class of 1967. He served our country as a soldier in the US Army from 1968 – 1971.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, and received his Bachelor of Theology from United Bible Institute in 1994. He was a dedicated member of First Christian Church in High Point, NC. Charlie was Founder and Owner of Luster Realty, and a salesman for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) Magazine.

Next to his love for the Lord, Charlie loved family & friends. He leaves to celebrate his home-going: wife – Joycelynn Luster; five sons – Maurice A. Luster & Brian L Haith of Los Angeles CA, C. Michael (Julia) Luster of Meriden CT, D. Khaleeb Luster of Little Rock AR, J. Jacob Luster of High Point NC; three daughters – Tanisha M. Cox of Voorhees NJ, Tanika M. (Clarence) Kelly of Charlotte NC, Bridgette M Haith of Los Angeles CA; eight grandchildren; two brothers – George (Jean) Greene Jr of Carson City NV, Willie Demery of Hartford CT; three sisters – Catherine Mayfield-Davis & Dolores (Curtis) Watkins of Round Rock TX, Sharon (Freddie) Miller of Lake Worth FL; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members and devoted friends.
