Linda Paulette Coick, 67, of Albemarle, went home to be with The Lord at 3:54 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. Mrs. Coick was born in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late James Honeycutt and widowed Mary Tyson Honeycutt.

After graduating from High School, Linda worked at the Wiscasset Mills in Albemarle and later at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center before retiring. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Coick.

Survivors include; sons, Robert Coick Jr. of Social Circle, Georgia and Elvis Coick of South Carolina; daughters, Sherry Lee of Concord and Barbara Preslar of Norwood; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A private memorial service was held on Sunday, February 23rd, 2014
