Frank Charles Cloak, 75, of Charlotte, passed away on February 21, 2014. Mr. Cloak was born on October 5, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Frank Oscar Cloak and Hertha Nolting Cloak. Mr. Cloak proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Frank worked as a manufacturers’ representative in the Art Needlework industry. Frank was an outdoorsman. He spent many years enjoying life on the water in Missouri, Georgia and then on Lake Norman. He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, tennis, cooking, and ham radio.
Frank is survived by a son, Joshua Robert Cloak of Charlotte; daughters, Rebecca Cloak Martinez and husband Andy of Charlotte; and Deborah Cloak Nahser and husband Phil of Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren, Philip J. Nahser, III, Stanton B. Nahser, Sarah K. Carpenter and Bennett R. Martinez; and one great granddaughter, Skyler B. Porter; sister, Donna Langhardt of St. Louis, MO; and niece, Kristen Penn and husband Charles of St. Louis, MO.
A private family service will be held on March 2, 2014 at Sharon Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC.
