Curtis Glenn Fulbright, 51, of Granite Quarry passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Glenn Kiser Hospice House. Mr. Fulbright was born on June 11, 1962, in Catawba County, North Carolina, to Curtis Nelson Fulbright and Frankie Davidson Fulbright.
Glenn worked for Food Lion as a Truck Driver for 16 years and was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Hickory, NC. Glenn was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sports enthusiast. Most of all, he loved watching his son play baseball.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Kathleen Fulbright, a son, Nathaniel Curtis Fulbright of the home, a brother, Randy Fulbright and wife Stephanie of Vale, NC, and two sisters, Rita Lail and husband Pete of Newton, and Karen Craig and husband Brad of Huntersville.
A receiving of friends will be held at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell, NC, on Friday February 28, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday March 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Hickory, NC (2120 Startown Rd., Hickory, NC 28602). The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the church.
