Robert Junior Rackley, 61, of Salisbury passed away on February 27, 2014 at Novant Rowan Medical Center. Robert was born on September 8, 1952 in Cumberland County, a son of the late Ross and Nettie Bradshaw Rackley.

Robert attended School in Fayetteville, NC and worked construction. He was an active member of The River Church of God in Salisbury. Robert enjoyed fishing, football and grilling and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Robin Oliver Rackley, who he married on November 1, 2012. Son, Robert G. Rackley and wife Nicolette of Stokesdale; daughters, Kimberly Smith and Stephanie Joyce both of Salisbury. Step-sons, Adam Oliver and Dennis Estes and wife Tabitha. Brother, James Rackley of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Corey, Amber, Eno, Danielle, Chase, CJ, Kaden, Haven, Corbin, Aiden and Paxton. Step-grandchildren, Isabella and Dakota.

There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 4:00 PM at The River Church of God, conducted by Pastor Brian McMasters. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2nd from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
