Elaine Marie Aaron Wilson, 73, of Rockwell passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at her residence. Elaine was born on March 22, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late George I. And Helen Pohmurski Aaron.
Elaine attended South High School in Youngstown, OH and worked for Purolator as a Courier. She was active with the Rowan County Horse Rescue and volunteered with the Carolina Raptor Center. Elaine enjoyed working in her yard and being outside, she loved spending time with her family especially her grand-children and great grand-children.
In addition to her parents Elaine is preceded in death by her daughter, Terrie Lee Shiderly; granddaughter, Danna Duganne, and sister Rita Griffin.
Elaine is survived by her sons, Daniel Duganne, Jr. of Rockwell; George W. Leach Jr. and partner Jason Huang of Columbus, OH; and Jeffery A. Leach and wife Rosemary of Salisbury; sister Georgeann Patzak “Old Aunt”. Elaine is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
At Elaine’s request, there will be no services.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all;Elaine and i have been friends for years. We were at the Y sat, night to a dance she had a ball. We were laughing and having a good time. i can’t believe she is gone. I got my little dog Max from her about nine years ago. He will miss her too.

I have known Elaine for only a short time. I know her from the meal site on Lower Stone road. She loved her family and her animals. R.I.P. Elaine.

So sad to read of Elaine’s passing. She and my mom, Betty Ford were good friends for years. I have good memories of Elaine…how she and Betty went galavanting and garage sailing…breeding and grooming poodles. I remember the monkey you guys had..always a little afraid of it…lol She always came to visit when back in OHIO. Sadly, Betty passed away 2-5-13, hopefully, now, they are making up lost time together in heaven with my brother John and your sister Terri!!! God Bless
