Robert Craig Crockett 50, of Albemarle, passed away on Sunday March 9, 2014 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation. Robert was born on August 19, 1963 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Virle Rex and Alice Faye Crockett of Albemarle.

 

Robert attended Blakewood High School, and had worked as a truch driver for Swoft and Compass, and most recently worked as a mechanic for Valley Proteins in Wadesboro. Robert is a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars and was always helping others.

 

Robert is preceded in death by his sisters, Etta Faye Crockett and Robin Baldwin.

 

In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his sons, Christopher Craig Crockett of Albemarle and David Jonathan Crockett of Charlotte; daughter, Ashley Marie Crockett of Albemarle; brother Rex Crockett and wife Teresa of Bedford, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
