Betty Jean Dawson, 66, of Concord passed away on August 22, 2010 at Universal Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Concord, North Carolina. Betty was born on November 11, 1943 in Hornersville, Missouri, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Beatrice Kelly Dawson. Betty was a graduate of Camden High School and had worked as a Beautician and as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors: Betty is survived by a son, Gerald Shane Woodard of Gallatin, T.N.; daughters, Kelly Michelle Wattley of Concord; Kimberly Ann Hartmann of Mount Pleasant, N.C.; and Kary Lynn Hartman of Kannapolis, N.C.; 3 brother and 3 sisters also survive.
