Brendle Kay “Brenda” Williams, 68, of Salisbury passed away on Friday October 31, 2014 at her residence surrounded by family. Brenda was born on June 13, 1946 in Rowan County to Mr. Earl Ray Cranford and the late Ruby Brown Cranford.
Brenda graduated from Rockwell High School and worked for Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, Salisbury, and Albemarle as a weaver. She was a former member of Rockwell United Methodist Church and enjoyed going fishing. More important than anything, she loved taking care of her family.
In addition to her father she is survived by, two sons, Daniel Ray Cranford of China Grove, and Terry Lewis Blalock Sr. of Norwood; a daughter, Crystal Blalock of Salisbury; a brother, Sonny Earl Cranford of Salisbury; a sister, Myrtle Greer of Salisbury; and 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Nazareth Community Church, conducted by Pastor Mike Shoaf.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nazareth Community Church (P.O.Box 444, Rockwell NC, 28138).
