Dale McCoy Miller, 68, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center. Dale was born on April 3, 2014 in Alexandria, VA, a son of the late Oscar and Myrtle Ingram Miller.

Dale was a graduate of East Rowan High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and worked for Martin Marietta as a Master Welder. Dale enjoyed target shooting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by son, Timothy Dale Miller.

Dale is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Carol Miller who he married on Dec. 1, 1967. A daughter, Tammy Dawn Eller and husband James of Salisbury; grandchildren, Bradley and Jacob Eller, and Brittany Miller; great grandson, Alexander Miller; brother, Kenneth Wayne Miller and wife Lynn of Gold Hill; and sister, Linda Mae Miller of Rockwell.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Salisbury National Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard
