Cassie Ranee Holcombe, 43, of New London passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her residence. Cassie was born on April 19, 1971 in Klamath Falls Oregon,a daughter of Gary Thurman of Badin and the late Louise Thurman.
Cassie went to the Beckly West Virginia Schools and received an Associate Degree from Stanly Community College in Applied Sciences. She attended Woodleaf Baptist Church, was a member of CBA and enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors in addition to he father include her husband, Charles E. Holcombe who she married on May 2, 2014; daughter, Kelsi Michelle Boggess and granddaughter Ava of Beckley, West Virginia; son, Dillon Boggess of Beckley, West Virginia; brothers, Rod Peterson of Albemarle and Sony Peterson of Beckley, WV.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Cassie and I had many mutal friends, but became Facebook friends about a year ago. We had many long chats about her love of God, Charles and her family.
