Michael William Lyle, 59, of New London, passed away on Thursday January 29, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Mr. Lyle was born on March 11, 1955 in Cabarrus County to the late Fred Malcolm Lyle and Martha Jones Lyle.

Michael worked as a Pipe Fitter for Southern Mechanical for many years and he enjoyed watching Nascar and football. He also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Lyle and Scott Lyle.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Mary Anne Lyle of New London; a sister, Dianna McLaughlin and husband Ben of Norwood; and a close friend, Randy Easley of Kannapolis.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
