Regis “Red” Lantzy 67, of Linwood passed away on Sunday April 12, 2015 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Regis was born on June 27, 1947 in Indiana, PA, a son of the late Clair Lantzy and Beryl Lantzy Maxcy.
Regis attended United High School in Indiana, PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served 2 tours in Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, Regis is preceded in death by his brother, John Lantzy.
Regis is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lantzy. Children, Carrie Lantzy and John Lantzy both of Linwood, NC; grandchildren, Brendon Lantzy and wife Tara of Northeast, PA, Alyssa Woodberry of Lexington, and Christian Lantzy of Charlotte; and great grandson, Cale Lantzy of Northeast, PA. Brothers, Tony Lantzy of Penn Runn, PA, Max Lantzy and wife Barbara of Seward, PA, Keith Lantzy and wife Tina of Blairsville, PA, Brian Lantzy and wife Lisa of Reeds, NC, Kenneth Lantzy and wife Pat of Madisonville, TN, and Rodney Lantzy of Albuquerque, NM. Sisters, Barbara Lantzy of Franklin, GA, Patricia Teeter and husband Alvin of Johnstown, PA, Carol McCoy of Madisonville, TN, and Dawn Mitchell and husband Scott of Winston Salem, NC. Regis is also survived by his mother and father in law, Nancy and Harry Barton, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
