Ronald Edward “Jersey” Bowman, 58, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday July 4, 2015 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Mr. Bowman was born on August 13, 1956 in Newark, New Jersey to the late John R. Bowman and Hazel Harvey Bowman.

Ronald worked as an electrician and was an all around handy man who could fix nearly anything. He loved bird watching and gardening, as well as listening to oldies music. Ronald was definitely a homebody and enjoyed staying close to home.

He is survived by a sister, Patricia Kirby and husband John of Pennsylvania; three brothers, John R. Bowman and wife Lisa of New Jersey, Randall L. Bowman of New Jersey, and Donald R. Bowman of New Jersey; a nephew, John Gonzalez; and a niece, Lisa McCarthy.

A Celebration of Life will be held in New Jersey at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
