Joanne Hernandez Garcia 31, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Joanne was born on August 3, 1983 in Lindsay, California, a daughter of Tomas Garcia and Maria L. Hernandez.
Joanne attended Lindsay High School. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, traveling, antiquing, fishing and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
Joanne is survived by her parents, Tomas Garcia and Maria L. Hernandez; children, Serenity Lynn Parnell, Ethan Thomas Parnell and Evan Lee Parnell; brother, Tomas Hernandez Garcia, Jr.; sisters, Letica Hernandez Garcia, Lisa Marie Hernandez Rodriguez , and Amanda Hernandez Rodriguez.

Although I never got the chance to meet you prior to your passing I can full heartedly say that your presence will never leave this earth, you are survived by such pure souls and there’s not a single thing on this earth that can change that.
You brought light into such a dark place and I am forever grateful to experience such a thing, even if it’s only a little bit.
