Sarah Louise Wissinger, 80, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday August, 18 2015 at the Hinkle Hospice House. Sarah was born on July 13, 1935 in Clarksville, PA to the late Thomas Robinson and Christine Fowler.

Sarah worked as LPN at the VA Hospital and enjoyed helping others. Sarah was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness in Lexington, NC. She enjoyed being outside, traveling, coloring pictures, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Hammond, and a brother, Thomas Robinson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Patrick Wissinger of Lexington; a son, Richard Earl Kight of Asheville; a daughter, Nyoka Watkins of Asheville; two brothers, Eugene Robinson of West Virginia, and Johnny Bill Robinson of West Virginia; three sisters, Yvonne Johnson and husband Fred Fenton of Dayton, Ohio, Joann Thomas and husband Dennis of West Virginia, and Norma Jean Bryant of California; a granddaughter, Sarah Marie Watkins, and a great granddaughter, Audrey Watkins.
