Denise Mary Rose, 64, of Salisbury, passed away on Thursday January 14, 2016 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Ms. Rose was born on March 10, 1951 in Media, Pennsylvania to Doris Williams Rose and the late Frederick Rose.

Denise was a member of Yosemite Baptist Church and was very active as a Sunday school teacher and volunteering to help the homeless. She was an avid reader and loved her cats, Kiki and Liam.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Eric Vaughn Rose of Salisbury; nieces and nephews, David Rose and wife Rachel, Erika Crowley and husband Patrick, Tamara Smith and husband

Vernard; and numerous other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the William R. Davie Center (4635 Pineville Matthews Rd., Charlotte, NC 28216).
