Sandra Kay Byrd Harrison, 67, of Salisbury, passed away January, 18th, 2016 at her residence. Sandra was born in Stanly County, NC on April 25, 1948 to the late Ben and Letha McSwain Byrd.
She attended South Stanly High School, class of 1966, and worked as a medical transcriptionist. Sandra was also a member of Porter Methodist church.
Sandra is preceded in death by a son, Wesley Monroe Wyatt, and a sister Elizabeth Ann Talbert.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, James A. Harrison; daughter Sammie Wyatt Little (Gene) and 3 step children, Terry Harrison (Angie), Teresa Bolton (Shane), and Tammy Mauldin (Rodney). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Jalen Wesley Harrison and Karimah Raegene Little, and 7 step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends at 2pm on Sunday, January 24rd, 2016, at Gold Hill Mines Historic Park (735 St. Stephens Church Rd. Gold Hill, NC).
