Carroll “Mimi” Johnson Mills was born on April 6th 1931 in Yadkinville NC, and passed away peacefully on January 15,2016 at home with family and friends at her side. She will be missed by her family and friends from Bradenton & Ocala FL, and Mocksville, NC.

Proceeded in death by her mother and father Ruby Whitlock and Alfred Milburn Johnson,of Yadkinville NC, her husband, Henry Clay Mills, her sister, Louise Johnson Kurz and her daughter, Karen Mills Davenport.

Survived by her son Gary Mills and wife Jenni of Mocksville, her grandchildren Billy, Michael, Kate Alexander (Ali) and John Cooper, and her great grandchildren Lexi, Mia, Leo, Emma, and Max.

Per Carol’s wishes, the family will be holding a private gathering in her honor.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you donate to your local Hospice organization. Hospice made a world of difference in the finals weeks and truly made Carol and the family as comfortable as could be. Please take a moment to support the great men and women of this organization.
