Barbara H. Daniels, 60, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Daniels was born in China grove on February 26, 1955 to the late Billy Huffman and Ruby Ingled.

Barbara loved to make things for everyone. She loved to see and make hand made jewelery. She also loved to color. But the biggest enjoyment that she had was reading Bible stories to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved seeing the smiles on their little faces.

She is survived by her two brothers and sister, Junior Huffman, Roy Huffman and Rita George.

Her children: Steven Daniels, Rhonda Burgess, Chanc Daniels, Ronnie Burgess, Lisa Johnson, Marci Roatz, Michelle Britt, Margaret Raynor and Vicki Parks.

Her grandchildren, Megan Britt, Myla Camps, Ronald Burgess, Nathan Daniels, Johnny Daniels, Caleb Daniels, Austin Britt, Jordan Johnson, Davey Raynor, Miguel Loredo, Marion Loredo, Mason Lambert, Jonathan Lyda and soon to be 3 new grandchildren.

Please pick a bunch for me

Place them in my Mother’s arms

And tell her they are from me

Tell her I love her and miss her

And when she turns and smiles

Place a kiss upon her cheek

And hold her for awhile

Because remembering her is easy

I do it everyday

But there is a ache within in my heart

That will never go away.

We love you Mom and you will be greatly missed.
