Margaret Elizabeth Frye, 88, of Salisbury, passed away April 30, 2016 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Mrs. Frye was born on May 28, 1927 in Rowan County to the late Ottie Sprinkle and John Sprinkle.

Throughout her lifetime, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, studying her bible, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed her flowers and watching the birds that would come to her bird feeders.

She was a member of Union Lutheran Church where she previously taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Frye is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Glen Frye Sr, her two sons, Everett Glen Frye Jr., and Thad Lindsey Frye.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Frye of Salisbury.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM Union Lutheran Church (4770 Bringle Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146) conducted by Pastor David Nuotilla. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at the church.
