Sorry for your loss. I worked with Dennis at GM right up till he retired. I enjoyed his stories from being in the military and the plans he had for retirement. Please let me know if any arrangements are made back in IN.

Dennis and I spent our teen years together growing up in Detroit. I remember when we joined the Marines together because we couldn’t find summer jobs! Dennis was always fun to be around and we always enjoyed those warm summer nights cruising the Detroit streets in his dad’s 1959 Chevy wagon, affection all called the clydemobile. We’ll miss him.

I’ve known Denny since we were teenagers in Detroit. Always a gentleman and fun to be around. The only disagreement between the two of us that I can remember was arguing over who the Dionne Warwick “45” we purchased together belonged to. Always a good time filled with laughter and smart alec comments when he was around. You will be missed – rest peacefully. Sincere condolences to his family. He will be thought of often.

Dennis was the first guy I met when I moved to Detroit from the country. The first thing Dennis said to me was “this is Detroit and you will have to get rid of that flat top and grow some hair if you want to hang out with us greasers”. I spent the rest of middle school and high school hanging out with life long friends at our headquarters in his basement on Archdale. Dennis was always a great guy to hang around with I’m sure will be greatly missed by his family and all of us who were lucky enough to be his friend.
