Keith Michael Hurley, 57, of Denton, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on September 24, 1958 in Thomasville, NC to the late Emily Ivalee Hurley.
Keith was a Christian man and worked as a Truck Driver until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to the beach with his family whenever he got the chance. More than anything, he loved wood carving and spending time with his friends and family.
Keith is survived by his Wife Sharon Hurley of Denton; two sons, Keith Michael (Jessica ) Hurley Jr. of New Bern, NC, and Nicholas Hurley of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Emily Hurley (Michael) O’Connor of Raleigh, NC; a brother, William Steven (Carol) Hurley of Thomasville, NC; two sisters, Rebecca Jo Hurley of High Point, NC, and Elizabeth Hurley Hall of High Point, NC; and a granddaughter, Charlotte O’Connor.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 2, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Denton Wesleyan Church (16345 South NC Hwy. 109, Denton, NC 27239) conducted by Pastor Joshua Hurley. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292).
