Doris Goyette Munn, 72, peacefully passed away on August 10, 2016 at Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.

Doris was born to the late Joseph and Anna Goyette on August 2, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT. She worked as a home health nurse in Maine for many years before moving to North Carolina. She retired in 2005. In her spare time, she enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bruce E. Munn; daughter Lisa Fivecoat (Douglas) of Brownsburg, IN; sons, Thomas Munn of Cary, NC and William Munn (Erica) of Alice Springs, Australia; adopted daughter, Josette Harper of Florida; and brother, Robert Goyette of Santa Rosa, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Heather & Jenna Fivecoat and Aiden & Toril Munn.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House for their loving care and support.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
