Michael Bruce VanNostran, 64, of Mocksville, passed away on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. Michael was born on March 28, 1952 in Los Angeles, California to the late Bruce VanNostran and Cora Maupin VanNostran.

Michael was a member of Redlands Pentecostal Church in Advance, NC and worked as a Assembler in the shelter workshop. He loved all kinds of cars, especially muscle cars and watching any type of car races. He also won several medals in the Special Olympics in the early 1990’s. Michael also loved to spend time with friends and family and he always complemented people on their cute noses.

He is survived by a sister, Jacqueline Smith and husband Don of Mocksville; a nephew, Chris Denny of Mocksville; a niece, Lori Lewis of Mocksville; and six great nephews and nieces.
