Emily Hildreth Moore, 69, of Grover, NC peacefully passed away November 27, 2016 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

Emily was born February 27, 1947 in Chester, SC. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Wayne Moore; daughter, Jennifer Kanipe (Joe) of Shelby, NC; brothers, Tommy Burns and Bobby Burns, both of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Frances Howe of Salisbury, NC; and grandchildren, Taylor, Paige and Lindsay.

A memorial service will be held at Christopher Road Baptist Church in Shelby, NC on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Afterwards family and friends are invited to 1409 Red Road, Shelby NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County (953 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150).
