Henry,
You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Your mom was such a talented person.
It’s hard when our parents finally leave us no matter their condition in their final days. But know that both of your parents left behind a great legacy in all you and your family continue to do for our community.

Henry, Grace and I are sad to learn that we have lost a dear classmate. We have fond memories of Ellen playing the drum in the Boyden High band. I am sorry that we will not be able to attend the visitation and memorial services, I have a doctor’s appointment at 10:30 am Monday that I should keep. Jack Kepley

To Matt… Sincere condolences to you and your family in the loss of your mom. She was a lovely lady in every way, and she managed to make the study of subatomic particles interesting to those of us who were fortunate enough to be in her 9th grade Science class!
May all of you sense God’s comforting presence in the days ahead.

Trexler Family..
Mrs. Trexler was my eighth grade teacher at Spencer School..She was a very special lady & a wonderful teacher..Although small in stature, she had the respect of all her students..I remember she was especially strict on chewing gum in class(which, by the way, was my specialty) but she was fair & overlooked our weaknesses…I remember her taking the class across the street to her house to watch Alan Shepherd’s space launch on her tv…
Please accept my condolences but Mrs. Trexler will hold a special place in the hearts of her former students..
I’m a 68 year old former student…

Years late and probably “unnoticed” I once again thought of your sibling, mom, grandmom…whatever. Several years ago I noticed a medical bill about to be mailed by my business to “Ellen Trexler” in Salisbury and I hoped it was the “Mrs. Trexler” I remembered from my sixth grade year so I took a chance and called her. We had a wonderful half hour phone call which I enjoyed immensely since it gave me the chance to let her know what a huge impact she had on my life. The bottom line is simple-> She was an exception teacher who found a way to reach her students. I’m sure there are hundeds of students whose lives were impacted as powerfully as mine was, I hope you are all as proud of your late “relative” as I am glad that my parents landed in Salisbury for my fifth and six grade years so that I could enjoy her as well.
