Glenda Gail Hinson Deese, 55, of Kannapolis went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2016 at CMC Northeast after a period of declining health. Glenda was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother.

She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Greeting her in heaven is her father, Billy Reid Hinson, Sr. “Bill”. She will be forever in our hearts, our beautiful mother.

Glenda is survived by her Mother, Virginia Ann Hinson of Salisbury; sons, John David Barnhardt of Pickens, SC, Gary Wayne Barnhardt of Salisbury, Jonathan Brian Barnhardt of Alberta Canada, and Andy “Monty” Deese, Jr. of Kannapolis. Brothers and sisters, Donnie Hinson, Michael Hinson, Judy Hinson Tucker, Roger Hinson, Nancy Hinson Barringer, Connie Hinson, Billy Hinson “Jr.”, Terry Hinson and Richard Hinson “Hook”. Glenda is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18^th from 4:00 to 5:30 at Safe Harbor Baptist Church.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, February 18^th at 5:30 pm at Safe Harbor Baptist Church in Granite Quarry conducted by Pastor Josh Montgomery.
