Peggy Yow Garmon, of Concord, passed away on Friday January 27, 2017 at the First Assembly Living Center in Concord, NC. Ms. Garmon was born on September 20, 1937 in Concord, NC to the late Mr. Yow and Gladys Honeycutt Greene.

Peggy was of the Baptist faith and was a full time mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed working on puzzles, reading, collecting sharks teeth, shopping, and was considered the Queen of Yahtzee in her family. She loved to cook for her family and cherished the time spent with them. Peggy was a very talented seamstress as well and made her childrens clothes when they were growing up.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sebarn Jasper Garmon.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Elaine Isenhour and husband George of Concord, Rhonda Lee Matthews and husband Daton of South Mills, and Tammy Kay Medlin and husband Cody of Albemarle; grandchildren, Mickey Clontz, Brian Clontz, Kim Fisher, Joshua Matthews, and Tori Medlin; great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Ashley, Allyson, Kalynne, Ian, Cameron, Jacob, Joseph, Ryan, and Peyton; and great great grandchildren, Leo and Jesse.
