Theodore Walter Romak, 91, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March, 1, 2017 at Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.

Theodore was born on January 19, 1926, to the late Walter and Anna Romak in Detroit, Michigan. Theodore served his country as a Marine in WWII. Theodore was a family man and enjoyed cookouts, cigars and an occasional shot of tequila. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Nascar, collecting miniature trains, reading, painting and old cars. He also enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with his children every year.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Adams Romak? and sister, Stella Sweet. He is survived by 3 sons, Theodore Romak (fiancee Kim Skrok) of Warren, MI? Thomas Romak (Mary Beth) of Boulder, CO? Terence Francis Romak of Naples, FL? 2 daughters, Tracy Romak (Alan Goupel) of Salisbury, NC? Toby Grudzinskas (Dan) of Romulus, MI? grandchildren, Erin, T.J., Ryan, Lauren, Travis, Jay and Zachary? and great­grandchildren, Kay Lee, Talon, Tristan, Devin, Hailey, Connor, Shaelyn, Theo, Arabella, and Alex.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW Post 9568 in Romulus, Michigan at 4pm on March 24, 2017 with military honors.
