Charles William Tallent , 37, of China Grove, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his residence.

He was born May 6, 1980 in Stanly County, NC. Charles worked in construction and in his spare time pitching horseshoes, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Charles is survived by his mother, Phyllis Hendrix of China Grove; step-father, Timothy Hendrix; sisters, Ashley Johnson of China Grove; Tabatha Gresham and husband Roger of Gold Hill; a niece, and 3 nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
