Nancy Jacobs, 82, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury surrounded by family. She was born May 7, 1935 in Salisbury, NC to the late Lacy Banks Owen Sr. and Susie Harwell Owen.

Nancy worked as a Quality Controller for a clothing manufacturer. She enjoyed watching old western movies and reading romance novels.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Jacobs; and three brothers, L.B. Owen, Jr., Harold Owen, and Alvin Owen.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Patti Sue (Michael) Stone of Salisbury, NC; four brothers, Carroll (Bonnie) Owen of Salisbury, Edward (Jane) Owen of Burlington, Doyle (Pat) Owen of Cary, and Bruce W (Debbie) Owen of China Grove; a granddaughter, Selena (AJ) Chambers of Salisbury, NC; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Chambers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 11am at Stalling Memorial Baptist Church in the sanctuary (817 S. Main St., Salisbury, NC 28144) conducted by Pastor, Mike Herring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stallings Memorial Baptist Church.
