Constance Martha Ballew Anderson, 78, of Statesville, peacefully passed away on July 30, 2017.

Constance was born on April 27, 1939 to the late Charles Ballew and Dollie Sutton in Gaston County, NC. She attended Linwood High School and was a 1977 graduate of Davidson Community College. Constance retired from Toter Inc., where she worked as a Training Instructor. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with family and cooking out “under the trees” in her yard.

Constance is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Anderson; son, Terry Scott Morris; granddaughter, Dollie Bullins; brothers, Edward Ballew, Vernal Ballew and Jerry Ballew; and sister, Sylvia Ballew Land.

Those left to cherish her memory include, daughter, Gail Morris Kimble & husband Donald of Statesville; daughter, Rebecca Morris Chamderlain of Statesville; adopted son, Mark Orren of Statesville; daughter in law, Candy Morris of Washington, DC; brother, Charles Ballew and wife Sandy of Lexington; sisters, Nora Ballew Young of Oak Ridge; Ruth Ballew Keller of Welcome; Margaret Vestal of Yadkinville; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dogs, Sparky and Pepper.

There will be a memorial service held at Constance’s home on August 5, 2017 at 1pm, under the trees. The service will be conducted by Rev. Curtis Hepler and the family requests for every one to bring a covered dish.
