Robert Scott Myers, 51, of Matthews, NC lost his gallant fight with cancer on August 19, 2017.

The beloved son of Robert Wayne Myers and Valerie Chillcott Myers was born December 15, 1965. Scott was a graduate of South Rowan High School, Class of 1985. He worked as a buyer in plumbing supplies.

Those preceding him in death include; Maternal Grandparents, Lewis C. and Katheryn B. Myers, paternal grandparents Dr. Robert L. Chillcott Sr. and Ruby Sanders Chillcott.

Survivors include Scott’s soul mate and loving partner of 15 years, Rick Donahue. They shared a love of travel, music, holiday celebrations and their beloved four-legged animals. Scott and Rick’s fur babies including: Tybow, Abbey, Rupaley, Minnie Paws and Esmeralda.

Other survivors include; parents, Robert and Valerie Myers of Salisbury, NC; brother, Ashley Wayne Myers and wife Tweena; nephew, Chandler Myers and niece Shelby Myers, all from Salisbury, NC. Scott’s extended family also includes numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Rick and the family plan to have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
