Jason Ray Thomas, 42, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Cornelius, NC. He was born on November 8, 1976 in Cabarrus County, NC to Douglas Ronald Thomas and the late Paula Kimsey Thomas.

Jason worked as a Lead Foreman in the Roofing industry and he enjoyed fishing, gardening, kayaking, camping, gold prospecting, playing guitar and spending time with family. Jason also was a master Coppersmith and mentored many Coppermen.

In addition to his mother, Jason was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Glorenere and Irene.

In addition to his father, Jason is survived by two sisters, Julie and Teresa Thomas; four children, Ryan James Eaglen, Briana Lynn Thomas, Kelsey Cheyanne Thomas, Jason Dakota Thomas; one grandson, Jackson Ray Thomas; as well as two grandfathers, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
