Christopher Alan Patton Sr., 47, of Concord, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Atrium Health Northeast Medical Center.
He was born August 30, 1971 in Fort Lauderdale, FL to late Billy Patton and Elizabeth Ach Patton. He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in Palm Springs, FL in 1988 and worked as an operations engineer for Jones Lang & Lasalle. He was a member of the street car racing group, Carolina Holdens and had his own catering company, The Carnage Cooker. In his spare time, he loved barbecuing and he could put a motor and wheels on anything and make it run.
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Resendiz; and cousin, Chuck Patton.
Christopher is survived by daughter, Rhiannon King (Nicholas) of Charlotte, NC; son, Chris Patton, Jr. of Mooresville; girlfriend, Deborah McArn of Concord, NC; sister, Lynn Dismukes (Harry) of Prattville, AL; brother, Greg Patton (Kathy) of Maplesville, AL; nephew, Alex Resendiz of West Palm Beach, FL; beloved dog, Willie; and other extended family and friends.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Although everything is still so raw and fresh, I am so glad that you are no longer suffering. The last few weeks of your life were the hardest fight you’ve ever had… you deserve to rest. Plus, I’m sure the whole family welcomed you with open arms when you crossed over.
I love you so much. Thank you for being the best dad in the whole wide world. I’ll miss you. ????

You were such a good dad to your kids, tough, but they sure knew you loved them! I love the family that you were a part of and helped to make. I am still in shock that you are actually gone, and you will be missed greatly. Go have a spectacular drag race in the sky!
