Shaina Leigh Hall Kotarsky, 40, of Motley, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born on June 25, 1979 in Honolulu, HI to Ricky Hall and Cynthia Bond. She worked in food service and loved to be outdoors. Her fondest memories were found near the water, be it the ocean, lake, or running stream. She loved working in her garden which provided hours of joy watching butterflies and her cats at play.

Shania was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Hall, and her grandfather, Earl Bond; and grandmother, Joyce Gulledge.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Brittany Kotarsky and Breanna Kotarsky; her grandmother, Emma Bond; uncles, Earl Bond Jr. (Gina); Paul Joe Bond (Dilek); aunt, Cynthia Fulton (Charles); step-mother, Sandy Hall; and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
