Nora May Fillers, 84, of Salisbury, passed a way Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home in Salisbury, NC.

She was born February 6, 1935 in Big Creek, WV to Dewey and Virginia Matney Boyd.
When Nora was able she was active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was also involved in Sunday school.

Nora enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, gardening, and collecting cat figurines.

In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Daniel Wallace; sons, Michael Keith Wallace and David Matt Wallace, brothers, Reece Boyd and Joe Boyd, sisters, Bell Wallace, Elsie Peck and Betty McDaries.

Nora is survived by her husband James O. Fillers Jr., whom she married October 25, 1980; sons, Robert Patton Wallace and wife Bonnie of Bristol, VA, Mark Douglas and wife Dottie of Spencer; daughter, Karola Ann Martin and husband John of Jenson Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Maybelene Wallace of Grundy, VA; granddaughters, Nora May Watson and husband Travis, Sophia Buckley, Jacklyn Hunt and husband John, Cassie Lansangan, Katie Robinson and husband Dex, Amy Provida and husband Carlos; grandsons, Robert Patton Wallace Jr. and wife Julia, Dereck Wallace, James Daniel Wallace and wife Ashley, Christopher Wallace and wife Stephanie, Aaron Wallace and wife Mindy, Timothy Joseph Wallace and wife Amy, Carlo Lansangan and Brandon Michael Wallace; great-grandsons, Anthony Watson and wife Sara, Jared Hager, Andrew Wallace, Taveon Lansangan, Conner Wallace, Rowan Wallace, Torin Wallace, William Wallace and Drake Hunt; great-granddaughters, Morgan Wallace, Alexandria Wallace, Mattie Wallace, Alexus Watson, Lilly Buckley, Avery Wallace and Gracie Hunt; great great-granddaughter, Brynlee Watson; brother, Robert Boyd.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019, in the Calvary Baptist Church with Scott Faw, officiating.
